Our Black Belts

Kyoshi Thomas Wright

Ku Dan (9th degree black belt)

    Hanshi Wright has been training in Isshinryu karate since 1978 and received his Sho Dan (black belt) in the early 1980s. Since that time, he has trained many karate-ka (students), including producing many great black belts (some of which are include below). On July 14, 2017, Sensei Wright's contributions to Isshinryu, including years of personal study and growth of his own dojo were recognized as he received his Ku Dan (9th degree black belt) from Grand Masters Craig Gilmore and Tyrone Milton.

    Sensei Wright is also certified personal trainer and Burn With Kearns MMA Conditioning Coach.

    Sensei Al Stoner

    San Dan (3rd degree black belt)

      Mr. Stoner earned his Sho Dan in October 2010 and his Ni Dan in December 2015.

      Sensei John Tansek

      San Dan (3rd degree black belt)

        Mr. Tansek earned his Sho Dan in October 2013 and his Ni Dan in December 2015.

        Sensei Tom Warsinske

        San Dan (3rd degree black belt)

          Mr. Warsinske earned his Ni Dan in December 2015.

            Alex earned his Sho Dan Ho in December 2015 and his Sho Dan in February 2018.

            Jonathon Baugh

              Mr. Baugh earned his Sho Dan in June 2016.
